Our dancers -- graduates of the Sausan Academy of Egyptian Dance -- have earned the respect of San Francisco's academic crowd, performing at events from the Eternal Egypt Exhibit in 2001 to the opening of the de Young museum in 2006 with a sold out performance called "Dancing on the Nile" to the Grand Opening and Grand Finale of the 2009/10 King Tut Exhibit with "Al Afrah al Saiid" (Weddings of the South), an Egyptian-inspired Operetta at the de Young Museum.
Al Masri proudly showcases its talented and beautiful dancers exclusively from the Sausan Academy of Egyptian Dance and welcomes all teachers and students alike to showcase their talents on Events nights. Additionally, Al-Masri supports all performances artists including musicians who perform live music on the last Sunday of every month as well as other special performances.
All of Al-Masri's dancers are graduates of the Sausan Academy of Egyptian Dance. All are trained by Sausan in the Egyptian Dance Code® using the Sausan Method.
Excellence and authenticity is foremost at Al-Masri!
