Fayruz

ABOUT FAYRUZ
Fayruz's Middle East studies include the study of Arabic, Turkish, and Persian culture and traditions. Originally focused on traditional women's clothing of Saudi Arabia, her interest expanded to Egyptian cuisine, religion, dance, and film. As a film intern at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Fayruz introduced the MFA to the Iranian Association of Boston and single handedly promoted its Iranian Film Festival, which resulted in a wonderful success.

In 2006, Fayruz thought to challenge herself. She put aside watching belly dancing and began attending the Sausan Academay of Egyptian dance, where she graduated top in her class of Classical Egyptian Style dance. She has been living the Egyptian dance dream ever since, immersing herself in Egyptian dance and cuisine as well as Egyptian film.

In early 2008 she made her grand debut at Al Masri. She is a true example of an Egyptian dancer and is available for private parties.
